I just thought you could use a chuckle! Disk errors are bad--Crashfire's idea sounds like a good one. If the drive went kablooie you may have to take it somewhere to have it restored. That happened to our server here at work two months ago and let me tell you how much fun it's been!

I put other hard stuff of mine in hers................... And my computer is like a toy compared to hers, mine is only good for internet, and games, hers could freakin launch the space shuttle :)

Put a fan in the basement to increase circulation and draw some of the heat down.

Try a new hard drive! If your and the "mans" computer are similiar, you can try putting his hard drive in yours and see if it boots. Sometimes it will work and sometime it won't, depending on drivers. But if it boots or even tries to boot, you know its the hard drive. If it gives you the same error, it's something else.

i agree with crashfire, try putting his "hard drive" in yours ............ this should also get some heat going down there ................ hehe.
