I'm pissy, I want to sleep, I want to eat, I don't want to eat cuz then I'll get fat, I don't want to deal with anyones shit, I hate work, I hate the people I work with........I want, no I NEED a CIGARETTE!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, I'm better now...not really but that felt good.

I have smoked for 15 years, yes I am only 26, I started smoking when I was 11.  I didn't do it to be cool, or to fit in with everyone else..I did it because people told me I couldn't.  I was such the rebelious child.  All I can seem to think about is smoking, after sex, after eating, after peeing, after going to my boss's office to see what I am in trouble for this time, after and in between everything is when I smoked.

It have only smoked 2 cigarettes since Monday, so I guess I"m not doing too bad....but oh how I want one right now.  :(

Good luck with quitting. I have never smoked but I eat like a pig so I can kinda relate to an addiction. Not to mention my wife smokes like a chimney and I been trying to help her so I see how she is. Take care :)

Hang in there. I dipped for 15+ years and quit cold turkey. It sucked bad for about 2-3 weeks. I haven't had a dip in 2 years. I still crave it every now and then. I guess I always will. I have saved a ton of money.

I smoked for 13 years and then woke up one Saturday morning and figured out I could barely exhale. The doc said my age was 29 and my lungs tested out to be 79. Holy shit! That's the day I quit. Now, my lungs feel much better and my lungs are now dying at a normal rate. :-) To put it in perspective, I did a 12 mile march in full combat gear in 2:14. I cam in 7th place out of 65 soldiers. Three of the top ten were out of my platoon, including me. I was reduced to not being able to run around the block without feeling like I would fall over dead. Smoking is bad...way bad...at least for me. Good luck to you...hang in there. The benefits of quitting definitely outweigh the consequences...you just gotta get over the hump.
