I like the Blog thing how it shows you the avatar, that's cool. I like the new notification thing but i think the NEW part is like overpowering. You can't see the icon behind the NEW icon. Maybe just make the icon that's in place normally blink when something's new or make it flash with a different background color or something like that?

TANK, I could maybe add that in the next release. Right now it allows for the blinking or static "New", but I could easily add another option in the future. My goal was to make sure people could easily notice that there were new items, and with the small icon size it's hard to have the word "New" readable if I go any smaller. Let me see what I can do in 2.1... :) D
