I'll be posting some little tidbits to try to make you scratch your head, or say "Hmm, I never thought of that." 1-Know where your teammates are. The key to any matchmaking or custom game victory/loss is good teamwork. Sure, if you run solo, you can fare well about half the time, but if you are constantly helping your teammates, odds are you guys will win. Also, if two people are shooting the same guy, shoot for the chest at a little faster rate to drop shields then one of you get the headshot. 2- DMR bloom DMR bloom sucks, but if you know how it works, you can use it to your advantage. When the game first released, I used to get really pissed at spammers killing me, now I spam enough to keep my target just outside of the bloom circle. If you are at medium to long range, timing is more important. CQC to medium and you can spam away...just try to let it reset as much as possible once their shields pop 3- Communicate. No one really wants to hear 3 guys on my x. Just try to call out by well known landmarks. "3 guys spawning corner tower" is a lot better than "3 dudes in the corner" Also, try to call out if someone is spawning or whoring a power weapon...which brings me to the next point... 4- Power weapons. Learn where they are, and how long it is till they respawn. Then when you pick it up look at the time and let your teammates know when they'll be up again. I can't reiterate this enough. Controlling power weapons is 10x more important than map control. Take the cage for example. 92% of people want to control the upper regen/snipe landing pad. I on the other hand, want the sniper, and want to stay near the sniper LAUNCH pad. From there I can visualize just about the whole map and can call out weakened opponents for teammates to pop. From just next to the lift you can snipe corner tower, landing pad, rockets, cage, etc. 5- If you suck, don't get pissed. Relax. Take a break, and get back to it. The more you get flustered, the more you will be off your game. Try not to think about sniping, odds are, the more you do, the less it'll be twitch reflexes and the more it'll be overtuned movements. If your connection blows in a game, drop the power weapons and move to a support role. 6- Assume a role on your team. If your a better sniper, don't be afraid to tell someone to let you have (off the spawn or at respawn) Also, don't think that someone is telling you this because you suck, maybe you just aren't on today. 7-Don't be afraid to have kills stolen in team games. It IS team slayer after all. Also, don't chase to finish a kill. Call it out for a teammate to pick up, or let their shields regen. The odds are against better players they will bounce a nade, pop your shields and pop you in the dome. 8- Sniper tips, sniping in reach is NOT like sniping in Halo 3. In fact, they aren't even really comparable. I'll try to describe as to where you had to aim in H3 compared to Reach. :) In halo 3, you had to lead your shot. This means shooting where you think the person will be in the amount of time the bullet takes to travel over the distance. In Reach, you aim where the person actually IS. Now, this goes without saying that sometimes in Reach I still need to lead a shot d/t latency blah blah blah. Anyways. Sniping in Reach is really, really easy. I just line up the head, move forward with the person and pop. I'll try to cap a video to show you sometime. I had some awesome snipes in customs last night against some of the 2o2p halo peeps. Anyways, another word of advice with the sniper. If you can't get a headshot but lower shields, don't waste two snipe rounds. Switch to a pistol or DMR for the finish. :) Well, that's it for now, I gotta get back to work and thought I'd post some tips for people to read. I'll try to post some more. If you think this helped, lemme know. Also if you have something to add or correct, feel free. I'm not a halo pro after all...though I am the OG Tsquared :)

If you typed it first in M$ word then unfortunately when you try to copy and paste it in there are hidden HTML tags word adds in. That is probably the source of the problem. If you use notepad and copy from there you shouldn't have the problem.
