Ah the American Dream

So after months of problems and weeks up delays I am final the owner of my very first Condo. I find it funny that a guy like me, with no job, can still walk into a bank and get a loan for a condo, but I guess that is the American way. Borrow till they take it away! Anyway, the place is pretty much the size of my old bathroom so Im taking a significant step down from what Im used to in my old life. Guess I should care, but honestly I dont. Im just happy to own something and build a little good credit while Im at it. If there is one thing I have learned, it is that credit makes the whole world go round.

So now I will start the long and expensive process of furnishing the place. Every thing from my old life does not really fit, but since the condo is so tiny there really insnt much to stuff it with. In fact the only real piece of the other place that made the trip over is my kegerator. The bed was to big, the couch, the tables, the TV (by 55inch HD), the chairs and even the desks. All much to big to make the move. I kind of like starting over so its really not that big of a deal.

The painful part will be no Internet for a week or so. I called them when I was supposed to close on Monday, but the builders didnt mention the lien they had on the title so I had to keep pushing the closing back. Fast forward to Friday and Comcast tells me they no longer have any one available till next week. Figures. Im stealing a very week signal from my neighbors but I have to be out side to even get it. Dont think I will be playing my COD2. Then again the Post Office lost my COD2 package since they screwed up my mail forwarding so what do i care.
