Job Search...

I have been looking for a new job for about 6 weeks now.  I know that is not an extremely long period of time but I need a job ASAP.  I am about out of money at this point and I'm not sure what I am going to do.  If I were a programmer I would have had a new job in a matter of a few weeks.  But alas I do not code.  I have been trying to find jobs where I can do the whold transferable skills thing.  What kills me is that I know that I am far too talented to not be working.  So why aren't I yet?  I need to figure out what I'm doing wrong quickly before I end up homeless.

I am about to end up like the chick on Weeds.  Anyone wanna buy a dime bag?  (kidding of course)

Ya coders can get jobs no problems because they're the builders of any software company, without them there's no product. So they're the first to be hired and the last to be let go usually. Soemtimes i wish I had have gotten into coding too. I think it's too late now in my career, not even really sure i'm interested in getting into coding anyway.

@Tank... true but you need QA too which is what I do. Unfortunately too many companies are just making the developers do the QA in lieu of hiring a good QA person. I do know some coding but I'm not at the level I'd need to be to get someone to pay me for it. Nor am I willing to spend 8 hours a day looking for a misplaced semicolon so that my code will work.
