Anybody else have one of these?  I did!

circa 1985... I had a wristwatch that transformed into a jet, my classmate had the watch pictured above.  He liked my watch; I liked his.  We traded and we were both happy.  Sadly, I can't find any pics of the jet-transforming wristwatch on the net (it wasn't an actual Transformer - it was a cheap generic toy).  Ah, childhood!

Transforming toys FTW! For christmas I bought my son two Transformers that transformed from everyday items into robots. One was a cell phone and the other a video game controller. They were pretty cool. Unfortunately like most things these days they weren't made very well and have already in three short months started to fall apart and he is not hard on his toys either. I remember having stuff back when I was a kid for years before something needed to be fixed or got loose.
