Off to see Eragon tomorrow. Hopefully, it is better than the critics have given it credit. Most movies usually are. I was tempted to get the book, but decided to wait until after the movie to see if I would be motivated enough to read that particular volume.
Picked up the NIntendo DS for the parental units' birthdays and a copy of Brain Age. I'm trying to get them comfortable with technology and keep themselves busy during their retirement time when they can't play golf. I'm curious to see how long it will take before one of them calls with questions on how to run "this thing." I didn't realize how popular they were. I was in Best Buy yesterday with a white console in my hand when SO said let's try to find it cheaper online. At that time BB had three white consoles and two pink ones. After searching online last night and coming up empty, I went back today and all they had were two pink consoles.
Still no Wiis. The more I read about them, the more I'm intrigued. Interactive games seem like they would be hella fun. Especially since you actually have to get off your butt to play. Could be exercise might be easier and fun? HMMMM.
