What time is it?

The 2old4Duty Call of Duty 2 tourney finished round 2 last night after midnight CDT.  Dastard ended up sleeping on the couch last night since I wasn't thinking and set up shop on the bedroom 360. (Sorry Honey!)  I"m beat...4.5 hours of sleep just isn't enough, especially since the contacts didn't get enough time in the cleaning solution.  (Can you say major eye irritation?)  I would really like to say the games were fun, but I can't.  That is not to take away from my team mates or our opponents.  I think out of 10 games I had less than 10 kills total.  I really try to average 3-4 per game.  I did get some nice shots off, but they were few and far between.  The late night didn't help either.  But, I am continuing to see where my weaknesses are.  AIMING.  I cannot seem to bring the gun up and center on a  target fast enough.  I changed my look sensitivity so I'm moving around faster and I'm sure that has a lot to do with it, but dang it's frustrating.  I'm looking forward to getting some Shadowrun games in next week.  (Sys that includes the youngun!  I'll let you know)

The stepson seems to be assimilating into the house well.  He receives the rest of his belongings today (11 boxes) so I'm sure the day will be spent unpacking.  I'm so glad he has maintained friends here.  He has been able to get acquainted with some of the other kids he will be attending school with and get to know them before school starts.  He and Dastard have been working to get a new drivers license, insurance, change of address, etc.  I'm not sure the whole situation has hit yet.  I know I'm still stunned.  Don't get me wrong, I'm very glad he is here!  I just can't believe the circumstance behind it.

Anyway, I'm going to put my head down and watch the "boys" gossip and argue on site chat.  That always lightens my mood!  It really is funny to see the conversations.
