Shared on Mon, 02/19/2007 - 08:28Today is a very special day, 41 years ago, I was born in Montana. I understand that Em is also celebrating her Birthday! OH, Happy Days!
Good weekend. The dinner last night went off very well. The spanakopita was good and rich; half a pound of butter with phylo sheets. Yummmy. Helped a friend muck stalls earlier in the morning and watched Dastard become hooked on Zelda. His claim is that he has to get farther along so when the boys come to visit next month the youngest ( big fan of Zelda) won't beat him. Yea, right hehehehe. Saturday was a good tech day. I rented "Prey" and Viva Pinata. I haven't started Prey, but VP is eerily addicting. I couldn't put it down. I think I played for at least two hours. That is a lot of time on one game for me. I usually get eye tired because of the fast moving pictures and movement on the screen. I also bought Medal of Honor:Frontline. If anyone is familiar with this game let me know. It was used at Hastings for $7, it looked similar to CoD, so I thought I would try it. I also wanted to get the new Wii Play, but everyone was already sold out.
So, overall, not a good weekend for getting schoolwork completed and I have a presentation/paper due on Monday. Oh, well. The weather is finally warming up and I was able to take the dog for our walk this morning, although I wiped out on a patch of ice that someone didn't clear from their driveway. I'm sure I will have a nice looking softball size bruise on my hip by nightfall, But, otherwise, temps will be in the 50's. I can handle that.
I figure I will go to classes and head for home and play some games. Love having President's day off too bad I still have class to attend.
HAPPY DAY EVERYONE!!!!!! And to everyone who has already wished me a Happy Birthday, Thank you!!!
Thought for the Day: Anger is the feeling that makes your mouth work faster than your mind.
