Thursday starts the weekend!

Oh, wait, that can't be right.  Nope, was dreamin, sadly.  I was traveling yesterday to finish and assignment and had a couple of interesting experiences.  First off, I'm driving along and make the second to the last turn on the road to my destination and am flagged down by a person in a jeep cherokee-like vehicle.  So, I stop and lower my window.  He asks me if I'm lost.  No, I assured him I wasn't.  (I had been down this road numerous time in the past two weeks during this particular assignment).  So, I raise the window and continue on.  My Spidey sense is tingling and so I pay particular attention as to if this individual actually turns or comes back.  Sure enough he crosses the road and does a U-turn and comes back down the same road I am on.  I park and stay in my vehicle before getting out and sure enough he drives by.  Now, let me remind you that this particular area is well known for drug deals and prostitution so a vehicle with government plates will raise some eyebrows and cause some scurrying.  I just make sure he completely passes before I even get out of my vehicle.

Alright, I finish this particular meeting and tell one of the gentlemen that I have another meeting further in town.  I get this funny look and am asked if I want someone to meet me there.  "You are kidding, right?"  Nope.  Great!  I'm heading into an even scarier part of town.  So, I accept the offer and after we arrive, I understand why.  I never would have found the place.  We drive through a fenced gate, down under a building's hallway and park behind this large building that doesn't have any identifying markings in the front, or back.  Again, I never would have found the place.  Alrighty then.  What a day, I'm exhausted when I finally get home two hours later.

After dinner I find myself asking to play Halo with the boys.  We play on a couple of maps and I really don't do too bad.  I even had the lead for a very short period of time and got some really good shots of them while they were in mid air.  I like the battle rifle!  Dastard and I try to avoid each other as much as possible except for the odd occasion when I get shot by him and his explanation is that he didn't know it was me.  RRRIIIIGGGHHHTTT;)  It was fun.  I need to play some CoD 2 so I get back into practice with those controls.  Especially since tonight is clan night and I have tomorrow off!!!!
