I am almost done with my paper and presentation.  I have a few more powerpoint slides to design and ta da., done.  Now I get to clean the house.  Shouldn't be that bad.  I figure by the time I'm done with the cleaning and paper, I can play!!!!!  I'm so excited, I'm not sure which game to start with.  I sent back Viva Pinata and Prey.  I never did get a chance to play Prey.  But, I figure I have enough games to work on that I don't need to start another.  I still have Halo 1 & 2, CoD 2 & 3, Medal of Honor and some Star Wars Battlefront. 

That candy coated crack of a game Viva Pinata still enters my thoughts as to how I can improve the garden I started and gain more achievments.  For the life of me, I still can't figure out WHY that game can capture my attention because the premise is sooo simple.

We didn't get any thunderstorms yesterday and that was kind of a relief, especially for the dog.  She sooooo hates loud noises.  Thunderstorms make her crazy.  She usually doesn't show much neuroses common with German Shepherds until thunderstorms are in the area.  Her favorite hiding place is my bathtub.  Don't ask me why.  But, when Dastard and I are home she will stay very close to us (ever hear the phrase "under foot"?) and will visibly be shaking and panting.  There is nothing we can do because if we try and comfort her we are only reinforcing the behavior.  It can really get annoying during the night when her panting will actually wake us up.  But, she is ours and we love her and the tranquilizers we get from the vet! Fortunately, the cat just looks at her as if she is disgusted or embarrassed with her behavior.
