Shadowrun strategy??

I got into another private Shadowrun match this afternoon and tried some of the strategy Soup gave me to work on.  Buying Rez in the first round as an Elf and just run around and be support. Cripes, I don't think I could have been more effective if I had a target on my back and a blue light flashing above my head with a bullhorn "Here I am, come and shoot me!"  I don't think I lasted more than 30 seconds in each match.  To heck with rezzing others, I needed it more than they did, or I rezzed them in a room of opposition.  Okay, I did that once and wasn't thinking, just happy I could rez someone.  So, the next round I got smoke,  works great when I think about it but doesn't help much when assassinated from behind.  Was I outmatched?  Hell, yes, but it was fun.  There are a lot of things to learn and I did unlock another achievement for Assistance!

I'm looking for gaining experience and if anyone who has played with me has any constructive advise, I'm all ears!
