I'm back in my office today after being on the road for the last two days. The meeting was full of good information for once. We have a new deputy district manager who is very familiar with policy and it's interpretation so basically we are getting information straight from the horse's mouth. In the government it is not easy getting good information regarding interpretation of the regulations, so this is a treat and allows me (us) to do our jobs better.

Tuesday night the newer clan members got together and Stang took us through some of the maps (I only lasted for five maps because of the time) but it was good. I'm going to ask if we could do this on some regular frequency since we get new members and some aren't familiar with maps, guns, or the various games for that matter. These guys are a good bunch of people to play game with. They even set up a game schedule to include Halo and some of the other arcade games and GRAW2 for those who don't just play Call of Duty. I thought this was great since I would like to learn more about the Halo maps as well.

Well, I found out some more information about the establishment I will be working at the next two weeks. The employees are on work release from the local prison. I know, that sounds very biased, but I was thinking how ironic this was since I was just at Leavenworth penitentiary a few weeks back. No, I don't expect any trouble and I'm not going to go looking for it, but my situational awareness will definitely be on high. And no, I cannot bring or carry anything that remotely resembles a weapon that would be grounds for immediate dismissal. But, I can carry a big, honkin flashlight! My life is never dull. I plan on taking the 360 along so I can get online and shoot someone for pretend, if I feel the need.

If you have been following the new lately, I'm sure you have heard something about the pet food contamination and the culprit being a chemical called melamine. Recently, this chemical was found in some hog and poultry feed which had been feed to a few animals. Now, pay attention here and look this up because there is a big discrepancy in these next two situations.

1) The animals that were fed this contaminated feed will not be allowed to be slaughtered for human consumption, but
2) There were some animals that had already gone through this process and the resulting products are not being recalled. We are being told that the risk to humans is minimal. Now, does someone else see anything wrong with this line of logic? If someone can explain this to me, please enlighten me!

Would you rather
Have quadruplets
or
have 4 babies, all 10 months apart?

Thought of the Day:
Man is the only animal that laughs and weeps, for he is the only animal that is struck with the difference between what things are and what they ought to be.

I'd rather have... None of the above. 4 is 2 children, too many.

If I had to it would be the quadruplets. Get in get it over with and I think you'd be able to deal with it better b/c they'd all be going through the same thing.

If the meat was included in products with low percentage of meat (chili, spaghetti sauce, etc.) the amount ingested may be extremely low. Second, it may require accumulation and the probablilty of repeat doses may be extremely low now that they have the melamine out of the food chain. Third, they are lying to us AND WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE! And, I'd rather have ... none of the above, I'm too old for that kinda sh*t! ;-)

Four in a row. Of course, I'm a dude and won't feel the labor pains. While we're at it, let's make it natural child birth.
