Shared on Tue, 01/09/2007 - 19:59I finally did it!!! I got passed the Halo mission on Halo:CE. I also passed the next mission and am learning to drive the warthog. WOOO HOOO!!!
Glad I don't drive this way on the highway, my insurance rates would skyrocket. It's not easy steering with one hand and accelerating with the left. I figured that was a good point to stop at since my hands were getting cold and I was losing feeling in them.
I'm hoping to continue my missions until I reach the dreaded horde. I remember watching SO go up against them and he got increasingly frustrated before he was able to master the mission.
This morning while I was on my ever vigilant morning walk . I was watching the dog for signs of things out of place. I noticed a change from a month ago. She had hip surgery late in October and had the ball part of her leg (femur) removed because of hip dysplasia. When she was released from the vet's she was supposed to go on walks 3x/day and they were excrutiatingly slow because of her limp. She would cringe at any sound coming from behind her, be it a car or person. Her self confidence in going for walks was low because she knew she couldn't defend herself. Now, she is trotting almost like normal and she's not so skittish. Which is cool because now I get a workout with her and don't have to be too concerned about my surroundings. Anyway, I just thought the dog psychology was a change of pace from the doom and gloom right now.
