Shared on Sun, 12/31/2006 - 20:34It's hard to believe the year will be over in a few hours, it will be a quiet night for my wife and I. We'll put the kids to bed, make our own "private" dinner and wait for the new year.
The Pink DS saga ended last Friday. I went to the local GameCrazy and asked if they had any DS's (I haven't been able to find any around here). The woman working the counter said no, but she could almost guarantee they would be receiving a shipment by the end of the day. My wife called at about 1:30 in the afternoon and we had success! The funny part - the DS was actually for my wife - she's hooked! Unfortunately since Friday all dinners, breakfasts, lunches have been up to me since she has been "taking a break" and playing it into the late night.
On my gaming front: received Rainbow Six:Vegas for Christmas and just starting to get into it. Impressive game. I'm looking forward to some online action soon. I've still been playing GoW and have reached a frustrating point. I am stuck at the pumping station on level 3 hardcore. What a pain in the rear! I've come close but a fatal mistake has brought me down each time - and each time it has been different. Dom and the crew are worthless 90% of the time, so it has been tough.
