I got an email yesterday afternoon from Mark Kistler asking me to call him later this morning to kick off work on his drawing book for adults.  He told me the book needs to be submitted to the publisher by January 2nd.   I told him that his timing couldn't be any more perfect, as my schedule has been freed up a lot lately.

All of the drawings I've posted so far were done in 10-30 minutes.  I'm really looking forward to what I might come up with when I start really investing some time in my drawings.

Here's today's drawing.  For the sake of Mike the Knife, it is a giant space lizard zapping an airplane with its acid tongue.  For the rest of you, it's just some sort of iguana catching a bug.

That is AWESOME. I can hear the people screaming. Although it's possible the plane may pass right through his digestive tract and they could be pooped out unharmed. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

@Kurupt - I'm learning that there are so many different styles of drawing. I'm pretty sure that if I start doing humans, they will be cartoony in nature, rather than carictures or real, accurate portraits. Though I would like to be able to draw in a comic book style.
