Busier than work

I'm currently in some seminars with Right Management, the outplacement agency that my (former) company connected me with.  Besides having these classes three days a week, they give us a ton of "home work" to do.  Part of it involves a lengthy self-assessment that takes around 20 hours to complete.  In addition, we have all these outside reading assignments to do.

This is really cutting into my gaming time -- actually, it's cutting into everything -- but I guess if I land a high paying job here in short order it will all be worth it.

Nothing fancy for my drawing today.  Probably another one of Unwashed's ex-girlfriends.

When I was just out of school, I got laid off of my job, and was unemployed too. I was young and didn't know what I wanted. When I went to the unemployment office I was asked what I wanted to do, I said that I didn't know or care, and the wonderful lady sent me on a "job finding course". It was a Godsend! I did a bunch of self assesment, learned how to make my resume perfect, how to interview and how to negotiate. It was the best thing that ever happened to me. Now I know that I am in a position of power when I enter into an interview, and fun stuff like that. When I am feeling down I used to redo my resume as a pick me up. Granted, you are older than I was at the time, but there are always things you can learn. Point being, this is probably one of the best things that can happen to you. From now on in, you will be at large and in charge of your career. Good luck!

Niiiiiiiice! I'm actually looking for hot and stupid at the moment....done with homely and smart. Hell, smart's great, but too much work for me right now! :D
