SIBLING CONTINUED..

So my brother just called...

"So did I tell you that video was nice" ~ no translation nedded (but there is a segway coming I can feel it)

"So what would it take if I wanted to shoot a music video to one of my songs?" ~ translation, I want you to do this for me, cause I still have aspiration as a solo artist...footnote, while I stated my brother is a talented musician, it stops there. In the world of music, there's a couple of roles you can play, (or when the 2old2con video comes [DOODI!] out think all the credits you see). Musician, Composer, Arranger, director, producer. Well my brother is a helluva improvisationalist and a pretty decent songwrite, his production skills suck, really, they suck! i.e., he has a website http://kmisounds.0catch.com/ and wanted me to check out this song "missing you". conceptually it's a cool track, but it's "loose"...meaning drums, baase and percussives are not synced tight, not to make the track punch, but just hold everything together. Of course that was a 10 miunte pisssing contest, (i should post a link to some of my stuff, while 5 years old, still kinda nice) anyway, I give him a concept he loves, told him to grab this hottie from our softball team, and lets spend about 4 hours shooting this weekend. "I'll get back to you"...asshole! He's gonna be pissy for a couple of days when I here back from him, maybe I'll be the mature and actuall take the call. Did I mention he lives like 5 minutes from me, and our musical relationship is so strained that we both had $20,000 recording facilities, and never collaborated on one track?....Did I mention neither one of us has a great singing voice, another component of being a solo artist we don't have!anyway an example of Dantez production (5 years old so go easy on me)
