A false start, a new start and some aussie goofiness

My idea yesterday to start a true mage ended in frustration. The cut-off point in Skyrim, where you feel hopelessly underpowered for a few levels comes pretty early for a mage. I have no qualms with starting toons that have a disadvantage, as that makes Skyrim all the more enjoyable. However, I deleted my mage rather than moving her into a new direction. Six levels in Destruction and Conjuration just doesn't leave enough room for re-schooling, knowing that I only move the cut-off point into the future. And getting there lacking six levels in her new orientation just makes it agrivating, not fun.

Anyway, I had this idea to make a half-Nord/High Elf who came to study at the College at Winterhold. Juniper of Summerset just kinda disappeared from Skyrim. As far as the NPC's go, zero fucks were given, lol.

So I decided to roll a Redguard. Her name is Briinah Smoliin (points if you know what it means) and she has no particular back-story, which is probably for the best if you're a sneak-thief. ^^

Last, a nice find. The fashion-crime of the last 15 years, Uggs. They're a retexture done by an aussie-fellow of the base-game fine shoes/party shoes (they share textures). It's pretty fun to see the well to do ladies of solitude walking around with Uggs on their feet. It isn't even immersion breaking, odd as that may sound.
