GEEK ME BABY

COULOW

How does one effectively tell their girl friend's that they can't go clubbing/dancing because it's only 3 days after the release of Modern Warfare 2?...a game I purchased in August?...and a community play date?....

Why don't non-gamers understand this?  Well, their husbands understand, but they don't, and their children think I'm the bizz-omb.

Grr.

Tell them you have plans. And don't worry about them understanding. You don't want to understand their lame-ass Saturday morning scrap-booking parties, do you? Be unapologetically yourself and just let them think you're weird. Keep em' guessing.

Wear all black and listen to death metal. They'll get the picture. Or prior to the release go dancing with them but dance like I do.

Like TDrag said, tell them you have plans.

They will never understand, they will just have to accept the fact that you game. For fun play on the fact you can do both, but wont hold it against them ;)
