My game update

Things are going a little slow but they are still going. Finished rounding up my team for the project. Got some writers and a few artists. I have a general idea of a story for the game but need the help of the writers to flesh it all out. I was never good at writing. I can handle most of the artistic side myself but have a few helpers since it's the most demanding part. The title of the game is Ventharian Wars. I won't reveal any of the story as it might change over time. Right now my writers are working on the story and I've started working on the features of the game. Here are a few that I've already added so far.

Implemented Mode7 graphics to the overworld map. Mode7 was mostly used by the SNES in games like Pilotwings, F-Zero, Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. It will give a "3D" feel to the overworld map.

Implemented a sideview battle system similar to the early Final Fantasy games.

Added a Xbox360 style achievement system with ingame rewards.

There's a lot more features I would like to add like a quest system for example. As I figure out which features will and will not work, I'll keep ya'll updated. Will be putting up a few screenshots in the near future as well.
