Shared on Tue, 09/29/2009 - 12:07Sorry but Metal Gear Solid: Philanthropy isn't the latest MGS game. It's a hollywood style fan made movie based on the game. This is part 1. Right now they are not sure if they will do part 2.
Here's my little review.
Considering this movie had no budget and is fan made, it was put together very well. The visuals were almost up to par with todays blockbuster movies. A lot of the FX scenes you forgot that this movie was fan made, other FX scenes were kinda a miss. The diologue and acting were a hit and miss. Some parts were spot on and some parts you wonder if Snake would really do or say that. They still did a great job though. The best fan made movie based on a game I've seen and will probably see for a while. Hope they continue with this and make part 2.
