Fried green beans, fried smores, fried moonpies, fried snickers, even fried butter! Fried butter?!? Yep, fried butter. Heartattack waiting to happen. Anywho, when I left home it was warm and sunny but in Dallas it was cold and wet. Luckily the rain stopped when I was at the fair but it was still cold and since I left my house when it was warm I didn't bring a jacket. Stupid me. I managed to find a dollar store and bought a 10 dollar jacket that worked just fine. Well here's a few pics from my adventures. I have lots more but they really aren't interesting as they are mostly family pics.
Some guys doing an acrobatics show. Some of the stuff they pulled off was simply amazing as you can see here.
Here's Big Tex. The mascot of the Texas State Fair. I would say he's around 50ft tall, he talks and waves his arm.
Here's one of the entrances to the fair.
Me next to the Camaro SS, the one they used in Transformers as Bumblebee.
Me getting my cowboy on riding a mechanical bull. Yes, I stayed on for the full 8 seconds.
