Yeah, I dont know why either

Well, I do know why its been almost 18 months since my last post, but I'll get to that later.

So, what's happened since Dec 07? Lets see... oh yeah, we had our first son.

Christian Miguel Rodriguez was born on March 1st. Here he is, 1 year later:

Lets see... what else - oh, I got promoted. I'm a veep, which only means I am closer to getting rolled on when the pile of shit comes rolling downhill. Seriously. I'm glad I still have a damn good job in this craptacular economy, though, so I'm not complaining by any means.

Found a lot of good new music, tried a Zune for a while but I couldn't deal with how it handled video... so now I'm rockin the iPhone and love it. I've already developed a couple of apps for it, debating pricing and whatnot but I'm pretty sure they will end up being free.

Still playing harder than ever... which leads me to the the big question, why did it take so long to post?

I'll be straight up - I explored other adult gaming sites. I checked out at least three. And I'm telling you, maybe its just me, but most of the others are built upon treating people like two year olds. Everything's over modded. You can't discuss anything that's considered inflammatory or polarizing or controversial. And no, i don't want to talk about shit like this all the time, but yet I'd like to form friendships around more than just gaming because frankly, that gets pretty boring after a while.

So I'm poking my nose more here again, really because I like knowing that I'm with people that I can talk to on an adult level, and not feel like every posting I make will be modded because someone didn't like someone else using language or whatever. But part of the reason why I looked for a few other sites to join was because this one is really REALLY big. I don't do well in big groups. I like a core group of people that I can hang out with, that's always been me. But all the cool kids hang out here, so I'll just have to get over that shit.

18 months means I don't know anyone anymore, so if you're down for playing anything, shoot me a FR or something. I don't reallly know where to start re-introducing myself except here, so WTF, why not?

If you see me online playing Fallout 3 send me an invite anyway. You have to pull me off kicking and screaming but yeah, I'll go. And if I had a few too many Patrons, lock up yer daughters...

I play H3, Left 4 Dead (need to do this more), Gears 2, and a bunch of other shit I can't think of off the top of my head.

Lunch is over, time to get to work.

oh yeah - album of the day is The Anatomy Of: Between the Buried and Me (The Day I Tried to Live makes me want to kick my office door down).
