Taking a personal day today. A friend that I work with is having some severe marital issues. We invited him over last night for dinner and a shoulder to cry on (mostly my wife, man she's good at that). Once we got that out of the way, the beer and Cuervo started to flow and we all played Rock Band until late. Sorry to ATC for missing last night's MUA get together... I owe you one.

Hurtin' a little bit today, but nothing that some Cracker Barrel won't cure. I have a few errands to run anyway, so the off time will do me some good.

OK, more about your friendly neighborhood I Codemonkey I

- I have a degree in Business from a small school here in NC, and soon will be starting my MBA at Duke's Fuqua School of Business (I guess that means I have to root for them - in this part of the world that will make or break friendships)
- I've been a software developer for almost 15 years. I'm mostly self taught, and while I'm most proficient in .NET languages (certified MCSD), I'm getting my feet wet in Cocoa for iPhone development, for kicks and cash.
- I love all forms of music except country. I'm especially partial to old skool hip hop (BDP, Special Ed, and Eric B and Rakim to name a few), R and B, speed metal, mathcore, grindcore, lounge music, and jazz.
- I have a younger brother and a younger sister, both live pretty far away from me and neither has met my son yet
- I have 2 cats. Here's one:

She's 16 years old, weighs about 6 pounds, sleeps on my head only at night (although she came with my wife when I met her), and pukes hairballs everywhere. Her name is Star, and this picture is a lolcat waiting to happen.

Peace,

CM

By no means should you EVER root for Dook. I can almost understand that you might want to go there to learn... almost. But, root for them? Why? How could you? Anyway, it's commonly known that post-graduate education does not compel you to root for your second school. My stomach turns a little bit every time I see that color blue, much less Ratface. Please don't go to the dark side. I feel dirty just thinking about it.
