Power!!!

Almost everyone I know is back online, including us. Sgreth got is power a few hours ago, ours just clicked on 10 minutes ago and we're trying to get back to normal. Internet, TV is working (oddly enough) and we can use our phone and all that. Now...to purge the fridge and go shopping (tomorrow)


It will be a long time before I'll take this electricity technology for granted again. Four days without it, when you're a heavily reliant internet family is tough.

glad you're back up! when isabel blew thru here a few years back i had no power for 15 days. all the generators were sold out and when one became available, bought it, waited to get it wired, the power came back on the next day. cold showers suck.

Yeah we got hit pretty hard in MA too. Luckily we had a generator.....

One nice thing that happens when these storm related power outages occur. Cross border co-operation. Utility trucks and personnel from Atlantic and Quebec Provinces go to the States and vice versa. Just depends on where the disaster is occuring.\r \r Thank goodness, eh?

I've actually never been so happy for such a basic and staple utility :) We were literally yelling, screaming and running around powering things up.\r \r On the bright side, low bill this month :)
