Why is it someone goes and creates a very awesome game with lots of neat features and smooth storyline and then they go fuck it up with god damned zombies. Is that the only way to make a story arc in todays world? "Um, this human here is kinda wimpy as a protagonist, what if we...hmm, let's bring in some zombies out of nowhere and that will really tie up the story line."
No. That's wrong. The minute you bring zombies into the picture you're losing all credability as a well thought out game design. Unless the game is all about zombies (like that shitty game where you fight zombies in a mall for all eternity, it's not worth me remembering the name) then there is no god damned need to bring zombies into the picture. It all started, in my mind, with Wolfenstein 3D. They took these nazi's in a twisted 'fake' storyline of nazi germany and turned them into zombies. Okay, that's all well and good to do something crazy and change up the game in a new way.
It's not new anymore. It's very tired. Fuck the god damned zombies, give me a challenge against humans in a game that's 99% about Humans struggling for control of power or treasure or whatever it happens to be.
If you're of like opinion as myself, don't bother with Drakes Fortune for the PS3. It's just another waste of time.
