Shared on Wed, 10/25/2006 - 10:47As gamers we're all clammering to save up the money for our favorite holiday game release. It seems Nov. thru Jan. are going to be hot months for upcoming releases. XBox 360's Gears of War, Splinter Cell, NFS: Carbon, Viva Pinata, PC Gamers want WoW's Burning Crusades expansion in January, and of course the two upcoming 7th generation consoles: Wii and PS3.
So much money in new products... what products do you want? I'm hoping for the Wii, in all honesty, that's the product I'm actually thinking about each week. I don't know why, maybe because I've not been able to try it. The PS3 is kinda costly - but I'd probably consider one (if our company does well enough). However, given the knowledge that I won't see one for at least three months with all the delays and short supply I'm not holding my breath.
My disappointment right now, is the PC game selection. Neverwinter Nights 2, Supreme Commander, Burning Crusade, and a few others. Maybe I'm just out of the loop on upcoming PC hits. Thoughts?
Here are my plans: Buy a few games that I want (Lego Starwars DS for instance) and then ask Santa for what I cannot get with my own money :-)
