I find this weird because I grew up playing Nintendo (NES) games -- Mario Bros / Duck Hunt, The Legend of Zelda, Rad Racer, and Punch Out -- so I should have some sort of natural childhood-bias toward Nintendo.
Though as of today I've completed all campaign-oriented 360 and PS3 titles I own, I've completed none of the games in my Wii library, and I've owned them all since their release:
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Super Mario Galaxy
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Instead of playing through these games, I find myself more interested in:
1. Playing though new "AAA" titles on the 360 and PS3, like GTA 4, or
2. Playing through old titles I've already beaten, like Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, or
3. Playing games which I believe have unlimited replay value, like Guitar Hero II & III, Madden 08, and Forza 2
My favorite video game franchise ever is probably The Legend of Zelda, but I can't even seem to finish the latest installment, and I think it has to do with two things: (1) nearly all (if not all) Wii software is kid-oriented, and (2) I am no longer a kid.
