She's the kind of person who lives on Tetris, PopCap Games (Bejeweled, Peggle, Bookworm) and other short session games (Ricochet, and so on). However, for the last couple of months, she's taken an increased interest in games. And she asked me to order her a Nintendo DS.
Now, I dunno if I can claim this as a victory for getting her into gaming because the games she wants for the DS fit the same style of games she plays on her laptop, but this is the first actual game equipment she's wanted since, well, the original Gameboy (which she had when we got together). At least she's showing an increased interest in gaming. Do I ever think she'll care about games like Halo or Half-Life? Hell no. But some progress is better than none.
The only downside.. she demanded the Coral Pink DS Lite.
This thing is blindingly pink.
