Marathon = Success

I ran the "Goofy Race and a Half Challenge" last weekend in Orlando - which included the half marathon on Saturday (1:54 and change) and the full marathon on Sunday (4:14 and such). We walked the parks two days before, the day of the half and the marathon and the day after. So it was quite a weekend.

Gaming-wise, I'm playing a free copy of PixelJunk Eden, Spike TV's award show was good for *something*. I've made my mind up to get as much out of it as I can. Currently I've cleared the first three levels of their Spectra and Seeds, so those trophies and a 10x Pollen Prowler Kill has me at 19%. I know there are some I won't get, but I plan on completing the ten levels slowly but surely.

I'm also playing Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness on the PSP. If you like strategy RPGs, I encourage Disgaea in any form, PS2, PS3, PSP and Nintendo DS.

In an attempt to keep myself a bit more accountable, I've started tracking my games on backloggery.com, which you can search for me - caduceus - there if you wish. This is an effort to follow through on my fairly large backlog and to keep me on task. It is kind of like going to a buffet at a gamestore sometimes, especially when they have stackable deals on buy 2 get one, and additional % off.

Not as chilly here as elsewhere in the country, so a little "warm-up" jog tomorrow. I don't know if I'll run another marathon this year as my wife and I are in pre-negotiations about #3. We'll see.
