Shared on Mon, 03/18/2013 - 12:20Well ithe weather has been crappy lately so the arcade had to get put on hold for now. All the finish work is complete. Just waiting on paint and final assembly.
picked up the new Tomb Raider and it's fantastic! I've already played theough it but, now i'm going for 100% in campaign. The mp kinda sucks. Probably wont play that very much.
also bought God of War ascension. The game was...meh. Not as good as the third but, not a bad game overall. It just didnt have the "wow" factor the 3rddone gave me. Not to mention the game has some bugs and issues with loading the cutscenes.
And now it's time to talk about Gears of War Judgement. What can I say, I'm just not excited for this release. I have it onpreorder but,, i still dont know if i'm going to pick it up on release day. I might wait a little while on this one. Something about it just isn't clicking and i don't feel like donating more $$ to epic games just for them to bend me over on mp map packa and other bs.
just my 2 cents. What's your thoughts?

I'm not a fan of Gears but it seems there is no hype for this one. I also find it weird that they are offering double xp for a price. I thought the point of having that cool looking weapon was to show your dedication to that game. Or your lack of a real life.

I agree with you Biznass! I've been reading up and there are only 4 mp maps at release! 8 total maps but only 4 that can be played for mp. WTF?! No horde, now its survival. No beast mode. Now they have loadouts like CoD too. They mention dedicated servers but, it sounds like they will just be taking the gears 3 servers away and using them. so you 'might' get a dedicated game every once in a while lol. I think this game is definitely going to be a pass for me for now. Sad that i've been reading so many comments like "cancelling my preorder" or "sticking with 3". Lol! If anything, this game will be a rental first.

I don't know if you played the early release or not but overrun is basically horde and beast mode all in 1.... Not a bad game but definitely wouldn't buy just for this game mode.... I was shocked that only 11000 people were playing the early release at any given time... Anyway I'm a diehard gears player and I'm questioning this game if that tells you anything.
