Blew Out an Eye

I've been playing so much Gears of War lately, that I think this may have resulted in my blowing out some blood vessels in my eye!  Seriously.  In addition to playing GoW nearly every night and several hours each weekend since it came out, I've also been spending several hours a day in front of a computer drafting documents at work.  I suspect I have been forgetting to blink...and now I have a massive red bloodshot area on the inside of my right eye.  Downright disgusting.  Going to make an appointment to see an opthomologist.  Hopefully, it is just a case of "dry eye", and nothing worse.  Happy gaming, and be sure to blink.

HDMI + actual HD channels will be a lot clearer. I guess I'm just lucky I have a wife who is a closet gadgeteer!

Thank you thank you, now I have hope!!! Now I just have to figure out how to get the HD DVR I want. I dont want the one from DirecTV, the one they're providing now, I want the older one with the Tivo software. Ive seen em on EBay for around $300. That will be my next trick, talking the wife into that, fortunately she hates anything other than Tivo!! Mike

I have the HDTiVo you're talking about, the HR10-250. I paid $900 for mine about 2 years ago, so $300 sounds like an absolute steal to me. I don't want to switch to the HR20 either, even though I'm tired of spotty reception of my locals via antenna. Send me a PM if you'd like to discuss it further. Sabres, I can personally vouch for WallyBRs prowess when it comes to home theater stuff. And I can also tell you that he is an absolute douchebag.
