Star Blog #57

Welllllll...................the LAN was a fail.  Some how the room I signed out (boardroom at work) got double booked and we basically had to pack up and leave.   Sucked because we had just started the first round of the 1v1 tournament at that point.  Oh well - I was bummed....so bummed in fact that I didn't much feel like playing SC2 after that lol

So I went home and logged into my Steam account (which I hadn't really used in years) and downloaded Counter Strike: Source, Day of Defeat: Source, Defcon, HL2 and a couple of other old Steam games I had bought 100 years ago.  Fuck me -  I had a great time living it up in Steam all weekend lol 90% of my time went to Day of Defeat: Source.  I love DoD - and had an absolute blast.  I was getting wrecked for sure....my mouse/keyboard FPS skills have defenitely taken a nose dive but it was still fun and it's amazing that I still remember the maps in such great detail - truth be told the games hold up very well after all these years!

I watched the first episode of Sherlock last night on Netflix (a BBC modern day take on Sherlock Holmes - which isntantly sounds horrible....but it wasn't at all!)  It was really good.  Fully intend to watch the other 2 episodes this week.  Apparently the show will be back in 2012 with more episodes.  If you are a fan of Sherlock Holmes.....or maybe even if you aren't I would say it is worth checking out.
