If everything goes right, I should own a 360 next Tuesday night.  I jumped on Soup's post about Microcenter selling the premium console for $100 off.  There's a Microcenter in Fairfax, which just happens to be between my home and my wife's parents' home.  As long as they still have them available, I'm buying it!  It's a total of $360 (excluding tax) for the premium console and a 2 year warranty! :D

Sounds good man I think you like the wireless controller for h2 :) plus xbox now makes a wireless headset for $60 that is well worth the $ its better than the wired ones

Don't forget that it's $100 AFTER rebate. So you will still have to pay the full price up front.

I agree with Bioslayer. The headset that comes with the 360 is crap when you are playing backwards compat games (i.e. H2) But it is pretty good for 360 games. Let me know if you have any 360 questions.

Oh, thanks Soup, I didn't notice that. Oh well, no biggy. I'm still waiting on $200 in rebates from my laptop. :D Maybe those will come in time to offset the 360 price a little.
