I don't watch this show much anymore. You basically only need to see it once every 2 weeks or so 'cause the basic content really doesn't change all that much. In fact you can say the same for Rush, Hannity, Madow, the jackass on HBO or any number of others. However, on the way home last night I got in the car and this happened to be on at this moment in the show. I'll try to link below but I've never tried to embed a video in the blog so I might be doing it wrong...

Edit: couldn't figure out how to embed so I just linked.

It may not stay up on YouTube very long either so see it while you can.

Sometimes, someone puts so succinctly into words what you've been thinking that it's a bit eerie yet joyous at the same time. I wanted to shout an "Amen" at the radio. I get a little tired of complaints about how our society is heading down the shitter only to have these same whiners support the crap on TV and other media that's escalating the slide. It's time to stop whining about the culture and start actually doing something about it.

If you enjoy Povich, Springer and the like, if you think the Kardashians are TV worthy 'cause one of them thought it was a good idea to release a sex tape of themselves, if you think that watching some dumb chick get punched in the face on Jersey Shore is good 'ol fashioned entertainment, please remove yourself from my FL. I don't want to support any of that trash and I really don't want to associate myself with those who do.

I know I watch a lot of different programming. Someone will probably be quick to point out my enjoyment of True Blood or Spartacus (I'm looking at you Gaius :) ) I think there's a clear difference between violence or whatever in the context of a story than the kind of crap being presented on most of so-called "reality" TV. So thank you Bernie! Thanks for naming names and calling this crap out for exactly what it is.

This is why I don't even bother purchasing Cable TV. Netflix and Hulu are my friends.

Kind of funny that her father is broke. I guess buying 40' Kevlar yachts and financing circumnavigations is expensive...go figure. On the other hand, Wikipedia says she's one of seven, soon to be eight children, home-schooled, and born-again Christian. I'm kind of surprised Fox News didn't finance the trip themselves :D
