Adventures in IEnumerable

Let me geek out for a second. I haven't been a good adopter of Linq up to this point. In fact I even went so far as to remove it from my using statements on a lot of new projects because I misunderstood its value. I always though they were trying to usurp my System.Data and System.Data.SqlClient.  This morning I learned about .TypeOf when building an IEnumerable list and, man what a code saver that is.  ! woot.  Linq is now a part of my life, I'll learn more about what other neat things it adds.

On another note, My little girl sliced her toes open yesterday on her sliding closet doors.  Poor thing. She was a very brave girl, however and barely cried at all.  The princess bandaids really do work to maker her feel better.  My wife (who is skittish about blood) braved the whole thing really well and actually bandaged it up herself.   I'm convinced that motherhood steeles ones nerves, makes you strong, nigh invincible.

I finished watching Top Shot season 2 last night. I have had them all downloaded (history canada DOES NOT air that show. jerks) for a long while.  Season 3 has already started.  I won't spoil the end of season two but one of the guys Chris Reed is from the same town as where my aunt and uncle live, Franklin Tennessee.  Cool stuff.  Anyhow, now I gotta start downloading season 3.
