Shared on Mon, 01/21/2008 - 08:00...but what a shitty thing to do.
Anyone who has lived in an apartment building or dorm knows the pains of sharing the washing machines and dryers with loads of other people. From trouble getting a machien that works, to having money eaten at various times (of course when you JUST had enough for what you needed), to tools like this who can't respect other people's property. I remember when the wife and I were renting right after we got married, and some asshat would repeatively take our clothes out of a washer or dryer less than 5 minutes after they are done and dump them on the floor despite there being a basket right there. Finally I got fed up and pulled up a chair and book and waited for the dick. Fortunately all ended well, I didn't get mugged by some coked up dickhead on welfare, and we started the home ownership route.
This also transcends to the workplace. How many of you have at one point fought for a microwave at lunchtime? What is your personal policy for taking people's food out after it's done? My personal policy is 1 minute after the timer goes off, and it comes out and onto the counter it goes. I don't care if it needed to be stirred and put in for another 1-2 minutes - tough shit. I wait patiently (well, I try to be patient) for mine to be finished as it cooks so I don't pull that douchery on someone else...so I expect the same in return.
Anyways...great games this weekend, and looking forward to the SuperBowl in two weeks. Should be a fun one if the Giants can put some pressure on Brady (more than they were able to last night).
