Accidents FTW

Normally, accidents suck.  But from time to time, they work in your favor.  Enter this past Friday - softball game, partly cloudy with sun every now and then.  So, I needed my sunglasses while batting, but not in the field.  So, bright old me hangs them half in, half out of the cooler bag I had packed.  Eventually the sun went down, so I forgot about them.  Fast forward to the end of the night, and we (wife, kids, and I) start pulling stuff together.  *CRACK*  The Mrs. looks down after picking up the cooler to bring back to the car, and finds my mangled sunglasses underneath her right foot. 

On the bright side, they were over 4 years old, and showing their age.  The old pair were Oakley Why 8's, and I really liked the rimless design.  Unfortunately, they've been long since discontinued, so the closest I could find was the Nanowire 2.0's.  Tough to find - struck out on Friday at multiple malls - but wouldn't you know that the one thing (aside from sunscreen) that is in pleanty supply on the boardwalk of Ocean City, NJ are sunglasses.
