T-minus 5 hours.

Well, its about 5 hours until the Event...or as I have started to call it...the first level of Hell....with drinks.

On a side note, I did obtain what may be considered a victory or at the very least a sole glimmer of light in this blitz of darkness that is today's Housewarming event.  I convinced my Fiance' that we really needed to reconstruct my Basement area.  The house we bought came with a finished basement, nice wall paneling, about a hundred electrical outlets, cable is already run, broadband cale was down here and all the good stuff.  So we spent last night moving the furniture around, I have a good loveseat, a floor video chair, a surround sound system hooked up, a punching bag...for those Halo2 Defeats of course.  But my happy moment is that I have finally gotten that college dorm fridge set up down here and stocked with Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Smirnoff Ice and about a case of beer.   It truly is magnificint.

Now I know you are like...ohh wow a fridge, no big deal and all that..they aren't that expensive but when you buy a new home and have to fill it with stuff, the little things like the fridges go wayyyy down to the bottom of the list.

I would post a few pics of everything but I don't have one of those Fancy HD flat TV's that everyone is always showing off, all I have is a nice 39inch Panasonic with that Component Video imput set up they come with, its a great pic..better than I was hoping for considering the money..but its not HD and that seems to be the crown jewel of the site so...well..fuck that :)

On a down note...my future mother-in-law is coming to help set up everything....

Thank god for the fridge...
