I have decided I need to loose weight this year. Namely I need to loose about 2lbs. I am 5'6" (ok 5' 5 1/2") and weight about 202lbs. I know it sounds like I am a round mofo. Oddly enough, I am really not, I have only a 36" waist and one single chin. My fiance says I look good but I feel heavy so my mind is made up, the extra weight is coming off. I think I am so heavy because I used to really be into weights, but then I hurt my back and couldn't go to the gym as often as I wanted, and then the work hours built up and so on and so forth. Same old excuses everyone has. Once I quit smoking my weight went u p another couple pounds, so here I am now. I want to get down to about 185lbs or so, since that was my old fighting weight before the back went out. No I wasn't a boxer or ultimate fighter, I just did recreational sparring in Tae Kwon Do for a few years prior to the back issue...yes I have trophies, no they aren't impressive.
So I am going to start walking and jogging (god I hate jogging). I am also cutting down on how much I eat, I don't eat alot of junk food so thats not a real issue, but I need to up my numbers of vegetables and fruits during the day (not just the guys in my clan either).
So with any luck I can loose this weight over the next couple months. I want it off by August 18th since that is when I am getting married and I want to look good in the tux.
Wish me luck, I have a hard time loosing weight.
