NEW FEATURE: Looking for Group

With the utmost respect these are fairly easy and solvable fixes and I've commented on most of them already in the forums.  The "pop-ups" (actually modals) themselves are only 2 weeks old and their soul purpose was to inform people about new feature to help the community find new people.  Out side of that we haven't run into that many gamebreaking bugs for the new site.  It's also 100% ad free, run out of pocket, and free of charge.  I do what I can whenever I possibly can.  Here are some more direct answers to your issues. 

 

• There is only 1 pop-up that asks to add games and this will never show up again once you enter your currently played game.

 

• The second pop-up you see is for the new LFG feature and there is currently a major bug with it not respecting the close button.  It should close the modal and never show it again by setting a cookie, but its not working on all browsers.  I'm getting that fixed ASAP. (Edit: it's fixed)

 

• What admin do you speak of for 2o4f?  There hasn't been an admin since months before the end of V3 when all groups were stripped out.  It's been over a year since group admin actually did anything.  All members for the past 12 months have been able to post in any forum without the need to be added to groups.  All they have to do is sign up and head over to 2o4f.  As in V3 forum moderators and group leaders maintain the same moderating function over their forums.  Nothing has changed here. 

 

• I've not received one PM from you so I'm not really sure who you're PMing.  My user name changed to Badmin since V3 so if you're PMing doodirock it will go no where.  I haven't seen any specific forum post either, and I've been fairly on top of the forums since the move.  Headinf over to the V4 Bugs forum posts in off topic and I've not seen one post from you their either, and if you noticed I've responded to issues in that thread almost instantly.  Oddly enough a post pertaining to your exact issue with the modals was already answered today.

Glad to hear it. It's still a bit new and will probably take a while to catch on, but I have a lot more plans for it going forward. The ultimate goal is to turn it into a stand alone app for phone so people can quickly find others to play with on any device.
