Some Great Moments in Music Video History

I love music videos.  They often make me like the actual song more when I'm presented of the artist's intended image.  Here are some I really enjoy:

Knights of Cydonia - Muse

Muse, cowboys, kung-fu, star wars meets spaghetti western (aka "Firefly"), a classic gallows escape, what's not to love?

Coldplay - Fix You

Let's face it: slow-motion videos are rock n' roll. Throw in some Roger Daltrey-ish light bulb slinging, a huge crowd, fireworks, and one of the best build-ups/climaxes in music and you have a killer video.

Jamiroquai - Virtual Insanity

Best use of moving sidewalks ever. HAS to be where OK GO got their treadmill routine idea from.

OK Go - Here it Goes Again

The aforementioned treamill routine. Pure genius. Best choreography ever.

Fatboy Slim - Weapon of Choice

Perhaps my most favorite video of all time? Walken busting a move for 4mins. Classic.

The Avalanches - Frontier Psychiatrist

Great beats and turntablism. What I think an insane mind would look like and sound like. The drumming old lady is FUNKY FRESH.

Tool - Parabola

All of Tool's videos are unreal to me, I could have chosen any of them. Maynard is an artistic genius.

Bjork - It's Oh So Quiet

Talk about a completely unexpected video from Bjork. It's a full-on Hollywood production number. AMAZING.

Soundgarden - Black Hole Sun

Such a great song and a completely creepy video. One of my more memorable videos of the 90s.

A-Ha - Take on Me

One of my most memorable videos ever. Probably the first time I watched a story set to music. Classic.

Beastie Boys - Sabotage

Spike Jonze writes hilarity for the Beastie Boys. I love this video.
