Wait, what?

This feeling got in the way of just about everything I did this weekend. But it’s hard to tell my wife, sorry I forgot to put the soy sauce away, I was just thinking how I really should have brought up the concerns over the way Albacore tuna are caught, vs the single line method of catching Blue Fin in the argument I had with my evil twin on Thursday while I was asleep……that’s one of those things that may end with her finally having me committed.

 

I know everyone has odd dreams, but do that many people have dreams that impact their ability to function? That dream really ticked me off….made me feel like I lost the argument....lost the war….I failed. Grr….stupid evil twin and your stupid ability to make me hate myself.

 

 

But in other news, after breathing in several pounds of drywall dust(despite wearing a mask), the basement is now ready for finished carpentry, primer, and paint!! The gun closet plan has been moved, altered, and possibly discontinued which has me a bit upset. The new location for it will be extremely difficult to put in due to the number of pipes running through the area. But it has the potential to be bigger than the original plan. I may simply end up putting in ceiling tiles and rough in some thicker walls in that section; after all, it won’t exactly be a public area of the house….. but this change also means that we are much, much closer to the part of the project that has worried me all along…..the flooring, the one part of the project that can’t be broken up into multiple parts, the most expensive single element of the construction….but once it is finished, we will have 1200sq ft of new livable space in our house and freed up tons of storage space that is currently cluttered with stuff that will be going into the new area. The pics don't give you too much of an idea of the size of these rooms (and were taken by a crappy cell phone camera ....but the room in the second picture will easily fit my 9' pool table, fooseball table, a walk behind bar and pub table with plenty of room to spare.
