Sick Day, again

Not a sick day for me, but for my wife. Yes, Friday evening we went out with family and had a nice long supper, a few beers and a ton of food….Friday night, I was sick as a dog. Saturday morning, my wife started with the same symptoms.  Yes, symptoms that strongly resemble a certain yearly outbreak that is resistant to the current normal vaccine… you know what I mean, but I don’t want to say what it is, because I’m part of the 35% of people who refuse to be a statistic…um wait….never mind. Anyway, I’m much better, my symptoms completely disappeared after 2 Redbulls….sounds like a miracle cure to me…but my wife (apparently determined to be the control group of the study) didn’t want a Redbull….and she’s still sick….so there we go, tell the media, a 100% confirmed study(of 2 people) that if you drink Redbull, it will cure that pandemic bug that I will not mention by name in this blog.

So, over this whole weekend there was nothing for us to do but sit on the couch and play Borderlands….which I beat last night…and I’m only at level 35. So I guess I’ll have to play it again to get to 50(like I was only going to play through it once). But I did have some glitched achievements that need to be re-attempted….Pandora-Dog Millionaire did not unlock despite my $3,000,000 in hand and 7,000,000 earned overall(but that is a known glitch that is being addressed by Gearbox) , and “kill 25 enemies with fire” achievement is still locked after over 1200 fire kills(even though I got the shock achievement after 5 kills). So I will be starting a new character after I hit 50, and trying for both of those again.
