Runescape, and the end of my experiment

Created about 4 years after Ultima Online, Runecape presents a similar feel, and mechanics but falls far short of what UO could do.

A strange game, offering Free game play, but limiting you to what you can do, what facilities you can use, and what areas you can visit, meaning that yes, you can go to ‘quarry A’ and mine gold and silver, but you can’t use the forge in the mine. Instead you have to walk half way across the world to one of the 8 forges you are given access to.   Training is vague, and the mouse click controls are temperamental often causing your avatar to go running in circles around a building as opposed to simply opening the door and entering.
The ability to play in a browser window without installing anything to your system does make for easy access to the game from anywhere (and the temptation to play while at work).
I’m not sure if I am being too picky or demanding in my search for an entertaining MMORPG, but I have yet to find something that can hold my interest. I have a few games on deck that have great potential, and great risk of addiction. The question is whether my system will be able to run them like it should.

Note;
After a lengthy discussion with my wife, she is hoping that I will stop playing these MMO trials, and as usual, I will respect her wishes. Thus ends my MMO experiments...I do wish I could have played a bit of WOW, but it’s a bit out of reach now.

I started WoW a few days ago. Loving it. Probably not a good idea to start if wife isn't supportive.
