Shared on Tue, 08/03/2010 - 12:45I felt I should post a pre-LAN Blog. I have plenty of preparations to do tonight and tomorrow (taking a half day from work tomorrow). In fact the only preparations I have done so far are to make sure the GPS on my phone still works and set up a house/cat sitter. (I’m a “last minute” kind of person) So tonight, I guess I should look into picking up the beer and needed anti-hangover supplies. Look into updating a few games, pack up some clothes, clean out the car get a USB drive and get some cash (ug, I HATE carrying cash).
I also have the video camera all charged up and ready, camera is also set so every shenanigan can be recorded in high def (for future blackmail)
This will be the furthest West I have ever driven. Not that I see the drive being an issue, 11 hours is a piece of cake, but everything west of Pittsburgh is all new territory to me.
I get the feeling I’m going to be the one person going to bed at midnight (I can’t pull the all nighters I use to….at least not without a TON of caffeine) half sober (I can’t drink like I use to either.)
Unless I find time to post at the LAN (doubtful) the next time I post will be Post-LAN possibly with vids/pics
