no time to blog

well, as I had said before, my office has started its reorganization,....it has ben a friggin TON of fun, my new co-workers are nowhere near as normal as I thought they would be, many are very cool people....sick senses of humor, Masochicts, Sadists....you know....people like me....no gamers, but hey, it can't all be perfect...

now...I know I have been trying to blog every day, but in the total chaos that is this reorganization, one thing has been overlooked.....my section, aka Team 2, does not have a supervisor....as far as I can tell, no one wants the job....why? because without a supervisor, there's no one there to tell us to work, and the job would involve a very small ammount of day travel (old accountants hate travel)....however, me, being the greedly little bastard that I am, have set my sites on that job....it was open for bid earlier, but the people who wanted it were all rejected....so, it has become a non-regulated position....meaning any one of us can bid on it....none of this only accountant 3s can bid on the accountant 4 crap.....so....yup....I'm bidding....the job is really not that complex, I;m already doing most of the duties(as part of my sucking up), I'm even stepping up to take on extra work, training new employees, submitting cost savings reports, crap like that.....why? because if I can steal this position it would be a 3 pay grade increase.....yup, that comes out to about $15,000 more a year.....so, blogging durring work....no more......surfing forums....nope.....twitter...nada....I only have enough time to check Woot.com in the morning, and get to work....I've even been working through lunch, break, getting there early, leaving late....going above and beyond....that includes shaving every day, wearing a tie(yuck) and sucking up as much as I possibly can...and as a free thinking, conservitave, punk (yes you heard me).....sucking up feels like I'm drilling my eyes out with a rusty table router, but this job would change everything......EVERYTHING!!....and oddly enough, out of the 3 people I can think of who might be interested in it, I may be the only person with any of the skills to pull it off....not to mention the big boss lady(aka; the cougar) has a thing for the younger guys....and who am I to argue....after all, she is the boss....
