my office has its revenge...

I know I've made a TON of posts here about how foolish my office is....how unprofessional...ect....

well, this morning the office has had its revenge on me...as I walked form the parking garage to the office I happen to find out that they are no longer paying for snow or ice removal....and I find this out by falling on the 15 foot wide sheet of ice that formed on the paved slope leading up to front door Friday night and was not salted cindered....nothing....all weekend....

now I considder myself to be somewhat athletic, in fair shape....but there are a TON of people in my office that if they fall, they won't be getting up until the ambulance comes to take them away.
so I've filed my accident report....took 2 tylanol for my back (I twisted it pretty hard, but I've had much worse)....and tomorrow we will see if the ice is still there....if it's not I'd be willing to call it global warming...or perhapse gnomes...despite my non-belief in man made global warming(I'd believe more in the Gnome theory) it will be the only explination I can possibly think of as to why the ice would not be there.......

In less painful news, L4D is AWESOME!!! I got beat down severly in normal difficulty....possibly because my AI partners refuse to shoot in my direction....even if I am surrounded by 50 deadites and a Tank....and a smoker just because friendly fire is always turned on....well, I'm glad they decided to spare me a bullet hole as I was being torn to pieces and pounded into a bloody pulp while dangling from a Smoker's toung like the meat filled pinata I was....but over all....a great time....we'll see how I do with clan night tonight.....and don't worry, I've learned my lesson about waking the witch...

Edit; I now see the benifit of an injury report....simply by mentioning that my back hurt, all the paperwork I was waiting 4 months for was preped and given to me in less that 30 min...AWESOME!
